Foster Group has been recognized in the 2022 CNBC FA 100 list, which ranks the top-rated financial advisory firms out of an initial list of more than 39,000 RIA firms.

According to CNBC, this list acknowledges advisory firms that continually find ways to work closely with clients to help meet their financial goals and mitigate risk.

Financial Times 300 Top
Registered Investment Adviser

Foster Group was named to the 2019 edition of the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers. The list recognizes top independent Registered Investment Advisory firms across the U.S. The annual FT 300 list is produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on the asset management industry.

CEFEX

Foster Group has been certified by CEFEX (Centre for Fiduciary Excellence), an independent global assessment and certification organization. Foster Group is the only Iowa and Nebraska firm to be CEFEX certified since 2007.

The Academy of Special Needs Planners

Foster Group has joined the Academy of Special Needs Planners. The Academy of Special Needs Planners consists of special needs planning professionals such as attorneys, financial planners and trust officers who provide the highest quality service and advice to persons with special needs and to their families.

White Coat Investor

Foster Group is proud to be a White Coat Investor approved advisor. To be on the White Coat Investor recommendation list, firms must submit an application and be reviewed according to the vetting process.

CEFEX: The Centre for Fiduciary Excellence, LLC is an independent certification organization. CEFEX works closely with industry experts to provide comprehensive assessment programs to improve the fiduciary practices of investment stewards, advisors and managers. CEFEX certifications help determine the trustworthiness of investment fiduciaries. Foster Group obtained its CEFEX certification in August 2007, and has renewed each year since. In order to achieve certification, Foster Group pays an annual assessment fee of approximately $5,000. These fees are a requirement for certification and cover the cost of the independent audit. 2024 Business Record’s Best of Des Moines: Foster Group has not paid fees related to receiving this ranking and Foster Group has paid no fees to the Business Record or Business Publications to promote this ranking. The Business Record selects Best of Des Moines category winners based on the results of their annual online open-ended poll. The data is analyzed, suspicious or erroneous votes are removed, and the results are tallied for all 70-plus categories. 2019 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Adviser:
The Financial Times selects the top 300 firms with more than $300 million in assets under management that submitted an application and limits the number of companies from any one state. The Financial Times contacted approximately 3,400 qualified firms and received 750 applications. The FT 300 is based on data gathered from advisory firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. Applicants were graded on 6 factors: assets under management, assets under management growth rate, years of experience, industry certifications, years of experience, and online accessibility. Foster Group has not paid fees related to receiving this ranking and Foster Group has paid no fees to Financial Times or Ignite Distribution Research to promote this ranking.
