Personal
Even though both of my parents worked when I was growing up, they never missed one of my school activities or 4-hour dance recitals! They were always there to support me. They instilled in me the importance of family and setting priorities. I feel so blessed I have a career that allows me to do what I love and have ample time to spend with my family. My husband and I have been married for 22 years, and we have three wonderful children. Two are at home keeping us busy, and our daughter is a nurse who is married and has twins of her own! It is rarely dull around our house.
We are avid Nebraska fans and always look forward to football season. We enjoy traveling as a family and, maybe one day, will make it to watch our beloved Huskers in a championship bowl game! Our faith is important to us, and we are active in our church where my husband and I have both taken on leadership roles. When we are not all running off to different activities, we are trying to take up golf as a family. None of us is good enough to say we have an official handicap yet, but we will keep trying!
