Personal
I was born in the smallest of small towns in Missouri and dreamed of working for NASA as an Astrophysicist. It only took one year of college to realize that it wasn’t for me, but I was fortunate to find my true professional passion in financial planning. Ever since, I’ve tried to never stop learning and helping people.
I moved to Des Moines back in 2005 where I met my incredible wife. We now have three smart, funny, unique kids, who are our whole world. In my spare time, I can usually be found working on projects around our 1941 home. There’s always something to fix or improve! I also love going to concerts, hiking, playing golf, and exploring the world with my family and friends. I’m a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs football team. I even write and host a podcast every week for a popular Chiefs website. Also ask me for restaurant recommendations, as I love to eat local everywhere I go.
