Andy Rushenberg, CFP®, is an Associate Advisor on Foster Group’s Business Development Team. Andy is one of the first people you might meet as you consider a relationship with Foster Group. Whether over the phone or in a meeting at our West Des Moines office, Andy works to understand the issues people are trying to solve and provides education on Foster Group’s custom approach to helping people achieve their financial life goals. Working with his teammates, Andy then helps identify the advisor we think will be the perfect fit to serve the client for years to come.
Since joining Foster Group in 2015, Andy has worked in various roles. Prior to joining the Business Development Team, he served as an Associate Advisor, helping clients make wise financial decisions to pursue what is most important to them. He also served on the Client Service Team and was Foster Group’s marketing intern throughout college. In these roles, he has been able to gain a deep understanding of the firm and the financial industry.
Personal
I’m grateful to work for a company that strives to positively impact people’s lives through wise financial counsel. At Foster Group, I have the privilege of helping clients gain the confidence and peace of mind they need to pursue meaningful, fulfilling lives, whether that means achieving financial independence, supporting their families, or giving generously to causes they care about. It’s incredibly rewarding to assist in guiding clients on this journey.
What makes this even more fulfilling is being part of a firm that genuinely cares for both its clients and employees. Working alongside a team that is dedicated to making a difference, both personally and professionally, makes the work I do even more meaningful.
Outside of work, I love spending summers at the lake with my family, where we enjoy boating, fishing, and creating memories together. Quality time with family and friends is also important to me, whether we’re sharing a meal, catching up, or enjoying outdoor activities. I’m an avid baseball and golf fan, so you can typically find me watching a game or hitting the golf course.
